What you can expect:
Your animal is in great hands at Cross N Taxidermy. We are here to brainstorm what your mount will look like and preserve the memories you make with every hunt.
When you drop off your animal, we ask for a 50% deposit. Your animal will not be sent to the tannery until the deposit is received. This is based on the standard price is does not include any charges for custom alterations, habitat on lifesize and pedestal mounts, wood/metal bases, crates, or shipping. All taxidermy work MUST be paid in full before pick-up, delivery, or shipment. We accept payment through the website, credit card (both subject to a 3% service charge) and cash.
Many factors have a definite effect on the final results of tanning, such as primeness of the specimen, time of year, climatic conditions and care of the skin/trophy in the field when it was harvested. Occasionally, a skin will not tan or falls apart during the tanning process due to improper handling before we receive your trophy, or because of some sort of defect in the skin for which we cannot be held responsible. For these reasons, we cannot assume any responsibility or offer any guarantee of the tanning of any skin.

At Cross N, we pride ourselves on precise and superior work. Quality work takes time. You can expect a 12-18 month turnaround on all items. Tanned capes and hides are professionally garment tanned, which takes 5-12months. You will be able to pay the remaining balance amount online or in person before pick-up. All packing and shipping charges are extra and will be confirmed upon completion, if applicable.
Your animal is subject to resale or disposal with loss of the initial deposit after 30 days if you fail to pick up, pay or respond once the project has been completed.
